This HyperIM plugin can extract over twenty details from Winamp (and compatible) media players, which you can use in your status! You can simply show the song title, or you can go ahead and use advanced details like the current bitrate, song length, playlist size, or ID3 tags details like the album name, release year, and even the Comment field of a song! You can have a progress bar show up in your status, and you can customize its length, and its elements! Using the powerful macro features, you can have different statuses show up when Winamp is stopped, playing, or paused! Above all, there's a super-macro which will show up only when Winamp is actually open, and blank when it is closed. Also all macro names are fully customizable.

More tricks

- you can put macros from other plugins inside the preset or playing state macros. For example, you can use /y:m to have the Yahoo! status headphones show up only when you are actually listening to music.

- ASCII progress bar not too customizable? Try putting macros for its elements! You can have a macro show up instead of the ending characters or the current mark!
