For the users who have reached this page from MiniLyrics HomePage: before you download this plug-in, make sure you have everything you need to run it. For this, start from HERE!
Have you ever wished that your friends see the title of the song that you're listening to? With HyperIM, you can do that very easily. And, from now on, you can go even further and show your friends not only the title, artist, album etc... of the song you're listening to, but the lyrics of that song. Now HyperIM supports MiniLyrics, a small tool (and free, if you don't mind the reminders  ) that currently supports 15 media players. ( www.crintsoft.com) How to install:1) Download MiniLyrics and install it 2) Download the attachment from this post and un-zip it somewhere 3) Run him_minil_0.1.0.exe. It will automatically install the necessarry files. Be careful to close HyperIM and MiniLyrics before running this installation kit!4) Open HyperIM, enable the plug-in and use it's macros  Lyrics Macros (default settings):%Lyrics% <== shows the current verse of the lyrics. This is refreshed instantly. %LyricsF% <== shows the current verse and the previous two. This is refreshed instantly. (in the future, the number of verses will be customizable) %TLyrics% and %TLyricsF% <== the same as the previous two, but they are timed macros. They will be refreshed accordind to the Refresh Time setting. These macros can be used in IM statuses, because won't cause status flood. No. There are some songs that don't have lyrics on the servers that MiniLyrics uses. But those lyrics might appear sooner or later because everyone can upload lyrics on those servers. In other words, if MiniLyrics doesn't find lyrics for a song now, it will search again tomorrow, and the next day, and so on until it finds the lyrics. BTW, MiniLyrics is not only for MP3s. In fact, it doesn't matter at all what type of file the song uses. MiniLyrics just gets the artist and the title of the song (from your player) and shows you the lyrics for it. |

It seems to be a gr8 plugin but I can't install it... it doesen't let me to push the OK option when I whant to install it

Finally I maneaged to install it... I don't know how but I succeded. So the arhive it's good sry my bad . The plugin works perfectly, 10x. but unfortunetly I can't find all the lyrics. |

That has absolutely nothing to do with this plug-in. Only MiniLyrics itself is responsible for searching/downloading lyrics for your songs. All this plugin does is to show in your status what MiniLyrics already shows you. As I said, anybody can upload lyrics on the server. So, if you can't find some lyrics, you can download some Text lyrics (from somewhere else), synchronize them and upload them using MiniLyrics. |

I can't seem get this plugin to work. It says [Inactive] in the marcos list. Im trying to get it to run on YM via Winamp 's Minilyrics. even with everything running it comes up blank in the status. I have the latest version off all three progs, and the Minilyrics is enabled in HyperIM. maybe im just missing a step, i dunno. any ideas?

1) Are you sure you have the latest MiniLyrics version? Previous versions of MiniLyrics don't have plug-in capabilities
2) Did you close both HyperIM and Winamp before you installed this plug-in? Minilyrics has to be closed so that this plug-in can be installed correctly.
3) Check if the plug-in was installed correctly in MiniLyrics. Go to the folder where you installed MiniLyrics and you should find a sub-folder named Plugins. There, you should find a file named mlp_lrc2him.dll. If it's not there, search you PC for this file (maybe it was installed somewhere else) and move it in the Plugins folder of MiniLyrics.
The reason why it might have been installed somewhere else is because maybe you've moved the ML folder after you installed it or you've reinstalled your OS (Operating System) after you installed ML.
If you can't get it to work, post. It works just fine to me.

I'm also having a problem with MiniLyrics. It works ok for me with WMP11 Winamp5 for Google Talk, Yahoo8.1, MSN LIVE.But when I keep using it for sometime my status still appears to be changing in my Yahoo window but it doesn't appear to others. It gets stuck somewhere and keeps on displaying that.I have to reinstall all HyperIM 2.12,MiniLyrincs again.Why does this happen?

We can't rewrite the Live messenger.
HyperIM sends the status to an IM client such as Y!M, if the status does not appear in other clients we are not to blaim.

Maybe you caused a Status Flood. Did you use the Timed Lyrics macros, with a refresh time of at least 60 seconds? I know the warning message says Minimum 30 secods for for long-term usage I don't know if that will avoid Status Flood. |

after i installed the minilyrics program thingy it worked.but after a restart in hyper ym it showed me that the minilyric is inactive altough it WAS active.i checked for the plugin and it was there

Hello Fulvian, That's a very good suggestion. I also want to filter the lines saying Searching for lyrics, No lyrics found and Embedded lyrics empty and all other things like this. If everything goes fine, there should be a new version in the next few days |
