Installation
- close HyperIM if it is running
- download the attached file him_ym_1.0.5.himzp to your desktop and double-click it. The plugin will install automatically
- restart HyperIM
- you can delete the downloaded file

how about change the status with new "plain" predefined text when HyperIM closed?

i mean, when we close HyperIM, it should change YM status to: [ex.] I'm on YM (and absolutely include it to new status mesage in YM), or we can select one of predefined text on YM..

isnt this go0d? better than just change it to available...

Well, first of all, I see HyperIM in the tray, so it's not closed.

Second, you're on Vista, and this problem was already discussed, use Search.

1.   yes... i see that now, but earlyer i tryed end it didn't work anyway

2.    on VISTA it doesn't work?.. when i used yahoo messenger 8.1 with VISTA i had no problem..

so... it's no solution?!.

Yeah, I get the same message, "Could not create destination file!".
I am trying to get HyperIM to work with the new Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 BETA...
For some unknown reason it just stopped working a few days ago while I was on Messenger 8.1.
That's what prompted me to download the 9.0 version.
Then I re-installed HyperIM, and it's still not working.
So, I wonder if I need to download this particular plugin for it to work.  My HyperIM seems to be acting "buggy" with the messenger.  The Predefined statuses work but not the Custom status.

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem with dani199090, predefined status does work, but custom status does not. (YM 9.0 BETA, YMS plugin 1.0.5, on Windows XP SP2)

One reason less to delete the bloatware that is y! messenger 9. Great work.

Now I only need to find out how to stop the messenger from enabling the windows minimize animation... sigh

Hi guys..

I've been trying to get the YM status to work.. I've followed everything and I mean everything there is to follow but I haven't got my YM status to work.. I'm using the 9.0 Beta of YM with the version of 9.0.0.907 and WinAmp version of 5.5.. When I check the Debug window, it shows:

[11:03:51] New status: I Want Somebody - Arashi
I stopped fighting my inner demons.. We're on the same side now..

and I think it means the YM stauts is changed but still, my window (and others says) my status dopesn't show

Yup! It solved the problem but before doing it, I also removed the registers of the old YM. Thanks a bunch! You guys rocks!
