I played around a little with the new skinning plugin and here's what I came up with. Feel free to criticize .

The buttons for custom status, invisible, predefinded aren't really too easy to discover what are about.

Well, the new look is obviously better (gee, guess why ), but indeed the three yellow buttons need some work, so that at least their current state is easier to see (maybe make them darker when theyre not selected?)

Made a few more adjustments to it (plus the attachment was deleted because of the attack) so I'll upload the new version.

The "More>>" button now uses the downOver feature .
The icons are darker (I have no idea what else to use there). Here's how I chose the icons (maybe it makes sense... maybe not):
1) The really bored icon is for predefined because it's near the predefined statuses dropdown box and because predefined statuses are really boring.
2) The shush-ing icon (the one with the finger in front if its mouth... sush!) is for invisible, or stealth
3) The light-bulb signifies innovation, and non-boredom... because custom statuses are cool, and not boring

I know, I know... I'm weird

Edit: found a bug in the skinning plugin... If you select invisible HyperIM says it freezes for 5 seconds... but it just says that , it doesn't actually do it.
