Problem with Y!M 9.0.0.2162 and iTunes 8.2.1.6

Using Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3, iTunes 8.2.1.6, Y!M 9.0.0.2162, and HyperIM 2.14 here.

I downloaded the "new" Y!M plugin him_ym.dll v1.0.5, and the regedit fix in THIS POST. And still it wouldn't work.

How do I make this work? And no, downgrading is NOT an option.

Enable iTunes plugin.
It should work.

What I meant was that, sure, the status changed, but it was getting the stats from random existing ones in my Y!M and not from the HyperIM. Not the %mSong% title.



EDIT: I re-installed everything from the Y!M to the iTunes to the HyperIM, to the plug-ins. Somehow it worked. Nice. XD

Hi , could explain with more details pls ? My YM status doesnt change according to itunes song names ( the song that I play did not appear at alll ... )

I'm not that great at the techie stuff...what exactly do i need to do with the registry for HyperIM to make it work for the Y!Messenger v9 or v10? I've seen that the version 10 final it doesn't work.

Also how do i do the REGEDIT stuff? do i just open up the .RAR file and change the numbers then save it?

Hahah i just miss being able to successfully change my status to iTunes song...and this 9.0 version isn't the best
